Bhadrak: The re-polling will be held in six booths of Dhamnagar NAC in the Bhadrak district today. The voting will be held from 10 am to 4 pm.
Reportedly, the voting will take place in booth numbers 3, 8, 9, 16, 17, and 18 of Dhamnagar NAC. As many as two additional SPs, three DSPs, six inspectors, and 40 SIs along with ASIs have been deployed in various booths.
Adding to it, the administration has made extensive security arrangements to hold the re-polling abiding law and order. A total of 11 platoons of police forces have been deployed at the booths.
Earlier on Monday, Bhadrak SP Charan Singh Meena led a flag march in various parts of Dhamnagar.
Notably, the casting of votes was halted in some booths under Dhamnagar NAC of Bhadrak district due to poll violence.
A youth, identified as Ramesh Kumar Lenka, was stabbed by some unidentified miscreants with a sharp weapon outside polling booth number 16 in Ward number 9 of Dhamnagar NAC.
