Odisha Municipal Election violence: Clash between polling agents at a sensitive booth in Gajapati

Gajapati: Amidst the Odisha Municipal Election voting in Paralakhemundi of Gajapati district, a clash took place allgedly between polling agents of two opponent groups.

Reportedly, the incident took place in booth number 3 of ward number 1, which is a sensitive booth.

The injured polling agent has been identified as A. Rambabu. He was attacked by the polling agents of opponent group while he was just going to eat his lunch.

Rambabu was rushed to the District Headquarter Hospital (DHH) for immediate medical treatment.

Notably, the violence took place despite the installation of CCTV camera at the booth.
