Jajpur: Students and teachers of schools under Rasulpur block in Jajpur district were taken by surprise as Jajpur MP, Sarmistha Sethi visited the schools and even took classes on Wednesday.
The BJD MP conducted surprise visits to the schools and had an interactive session with the school children. Sethi who resigned from the Odisha Administrative Service before joining the ruling party was also seen asking questions to the school children.
Sethi also interacted with the teachers to find out the problems of the schools. She directed the teachers to maintain a cordial relationship with their students.
“There was no official communication regarding his visit for which we were surprised after she reached the school. Her visit to the school will definitely inspire the students,’ said a teacher.
