Odisha MP Pramila Bisoyi bows before ballot box, her intention will win your heart! Watch

Berhampur: Voting for the fifth and final phase panchayat polls is underway in 25 districts of Odisha. The voting began at 7 AM and will continue till 1 PM. People from all walks of life including heavyweight politicians are also casting their votes to decide the fate of candidates in 131 Zilla Parishad zones of the State. Aska’s BJD MP Pramila Bishoyi also exercised her franchise today during which she bowed before the ballot box and wished for a violence-free panchayat election.

MP Pramila Bishoyi voted for her favourite candidates for the three-tier rural polls at a booth in her native Cheramaria village in Ganjam district. While casting her votes, the elderly MP showed her respect for the election process by sitting with folded hands before the ballot box after casting her vote. This apart, she wished for the violence-fee and successful panchayat election across Odisha.

Bishoyi also urged the locals to go for voting to select the right candidates who can work for the development of their grama panchayat.

Senior Congress MLA Suresh Kumar Routray (Sura Routray) also casted his vote at Chhanaghar panchayat in Jatani Block of Khurda district and encouraged the voters to go for casting their franchises.

Likewise, Dharmasala MLA Pranab Kumar Balabantaray also casted his vote along with his family members at booth No 5 at Chandipur Primary School under Rasulpur Grama Panchayat. He also urged people to take part in the electoral process peacefully.
