Khordha: Miscreants allegedly looted cash from the Siko branch of Odisha Gramya Bank under Begunia police limits late last night.
The matter came to light this morning after bank employees found the window of the bank broken. “The locker of the bank was also found broken. The miscreants have ransacked the bank,” said a bank employee.
Police have started an investigation after getting a formal complaint. “We are also trying to ascertain the exact amount of money looted by the miscreants. We are also trying to ascertain the involvement of any veteran criminal gang in the crime,” said a police official.
