Balangir: Odisha Women and Child Development Minister Tukuni Sahu grabbed attention from several quarters by rushing a accident victim to hospital in Balangir district on Friday.
The minister was returning to Titlagarh from Balangir when she saw a rush at Baragaon Chhaka under Saintala police limits and without any delay she immediately rescued and rushed the accident victim to the Saintala Community Health Centre (CHC) for treatment in her personal vehicle.
Sources said, the victim has been identified as Sunita Mishra and her husband met with an accident while returning to Saintala from Badamala.
The Minister’s extended her helping hand and turned to be good samaritan. She also urged everyone to help the injured persons who are lying unattended at the accident spot.
