Phulbani: Odisha Panchayati Raj Minister Pratap Jena had a narrow escape after his vehicle met with an accident in Kandhamal district today.
According to reports, Jena’s vehicle hit the roadside tree after its driver lost control over the wheels of the car. The mishap took place near Phulbani while the Minister was on his way to campaign for party candidates for the upcoming Panchayat polls in the district.
On being informed, the Phulbani Town Police immediately rushed to the spot and started an investigation into the matter.
Till the filing of this report, there was no information about the injury of Jena or all those who were in his car.
