Odisha Minister Orders One-Day Salary Cut For Teachers Who Are Absent In Puri School

Puri: Odisha School and Mass Education Minister Samir Dash on Saturday has ordered one day salary cut of the headmistress and teachers who were absent without prior permission and issued a show cause notice to the headmistress during his surprise visit to Puri Zilla School.

The Education Minister also directed the schools to complete the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) pattern exams by the end of March this year.

As the question pattern has been changed, students must know about it, said Education Minister.

The minister interacted with students of the school and advised them to study hard for a bright future.

I had come here to take feedback from the students. I have been visiting schools and inquiring whether the remaining courses after the 30 per cent slash have been completed or not. Around 90 per cent course has been completed and it is excepted to be completed by the end of March.” informed to the the media.

He has also directed the DEOs of 30 districts to ensure all schools conduct the exam in the BSE format in March in view of the change in exam pattern.

    Such a bekar government and media I have never seen, the private school teachers are not getting pay for last five months, from April to October also we got only 50 percent pay… My total pay is 15k, till they deducted 50 percent, from last November no pay… Where the govt and media had gone… No govt and media is going to help the private teachers… We are facing very hard time from last year..hope any one take the action on this aspect
