Odisha: MeT Dept warns of thunderstorm, lightning & rain in 11 districts

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Metrological Centre, Bhubaneswar on Wednesday warned of light to moderate thunderstorm and lightning with light rainfall in 11 districts of Odisha tonight.

The districts include Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Nuapada, Balangir, Baragarh, Kalahandi, Sonepur, Boudh, Nabarangpur, Sundergarh and Keonjhar.

The weathermen also forecast gusty surface wind speed reaching 30 to 40 km/h likely to occur over these districts till 8.30 PM tonight.

People of these districts have been advised to take precautions during the adverse weather conditions and stay indoors.
