Bhubaneswar: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha declared Odisha 10th Result 2019 at its office here today.
The result was declared formally via video-conferencing by School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash .
Students can now their results online on www.bseodisha.ac.in and www.bseodisha.nic.in from 11.30 onwards.
Candidates can also know results through SMS by typing “OR01<Roll No.>” and sending it to 5676750.
The total pass percentage stands at 78.76 % as against 70.78 % last year.
A total of 4, 21,256 students have passed in the annual Class 10 exams 2020. Girls have outshined boys in the Matric Results
Of the total 2,62,738 girl students, 2,15,368 have passed the exam this year with pass percentage of 81.98%. As many as 1,92,501 boys have passed the exam from the total of 2,47,451 male students with pass percentage of 77.8%.
This year, a total of 5.6 lakh students appeared in class 10 Odisha BSE board examinations this year. The exams had ended on March 2 this year. Though the examination was not affected by the COVID-19 lockdown, the evaluation had to be postponed.
