Daringbadi: Maoists posters and banners urging people to boycott the upcoming Lok Sabha and state Assembly elections surfaced at Kandibandha village on Baliguda-Daringbadi road in Kandhamal district.
The Baghuna divisional committee of the CPI (Maoist) through the posters and banners urged people to oppose political leaders while coming to seek votes during election campaigns and boycott the election.
The surfacing of Maoist posters and banners has left the locals of the area panic-stricken as this is the second such instance in the district post the announcement of election dates.
Earlier, similar banners were seen at Sukungia Chhak under Baliguda police limits of the district.
