Angul: In a tragic incident, a 59-year-old man died after seeing his elder brother’s body in Siding village under Pallahara police limits in Odisha’s Angul district on Friday.
The deceased persons were identified as Tirumal Pal and his elder brother Dipak Pal.
According to reports, Dipak Pal died of cancer while undergoing treatment at Acharya Harihar Regional Cancer in Cuttack yesterday. He was 62.
Later, the family members took Dipak’s body to their village as to perform last rites.
Soon after seeing the body of his elder brother, Tirumal fell unconscious at their residence. He was rushed to Pallahara Sub-Divisional Hospital (SDH) for treatment. However, he was declared brought dead.
A pal of gloom descended in Pallahara area following the tragic incident.
