Nabrangpur: In a shocking incident, a man allegedly killed his wife and then committed suicide at Bhandimal village under Kodinga police limits of Nabarangpur district.
The deceased wife has been identified as Parbati Jani wife, while his husband as Niladhar Jani.
Sources said, the incident took place a meter away from their home. Niladhar hacked his wife to death with a sharp weapon and then committed suicide by hanging from a tree.
The exact reason for the incident is yet to be ascertained.
On being informed, the police reached the spot and have started an investigation in to the matter.
