Malkanagiri: A man has been murdered over sorcery at Kangurukunda village under Kalimela police limits of Malkangiri district.
The deceased has been identified as Padia Madkami.
The horrific incident occurred during a ‘Praja court’ organised by the villagers
In the Praja court, some villagers allegedly started beating Padia, leading to his death on the spot.
The deceased’s son, Birendra Madkami, has lodged a complaint with the Kalimela police station.
Further investigation in the case is underway.
