Bhubaneswar: A maid was arrested by Khandagiri Police in the capital city of Odisha on Friday for the charge of theft. She had reportedly theft from the house of her employer and bought a scooty after keeping the theft gold in bank as mortgage.
As per reports, the accused woman was working in a house since last 3 years. After winning trust of the house owner she was given freedom. Even the house owner, a lady, used to go office after giving the maid, the key of the house.
However, after winning trust of the house owner, she stole gold from the house several times. She was then keeping the theft gold in the bank and getting money, with which she bought a scooty.
After some days, the house owner doubted involvement of the maid in the theft and accordingly lodged a complaint with Police, On the basis of the complaint, Police interrogated the maid and the theft case was busted.
An aide was helping the accused in this theft, who has also been arrested.
