Odisha Is Ready With Blueprint To Tackle Eventuality If COVID Situation Worsens: Director Of Health Services

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has prepared a blueprint to tackle eventuality if COVID situation worsens in the State, informed Director of Health Services, Bijay Kumar Mohapatra on Saturday.

While briefing the media, Mohapatra, who is in-charge of COVID management in Odisha, said that the State government has already prepared a blueprint to break the chain of COVID infection.

Night curfew and weakened shutdown restrictions for 10 districts connecting Chhattisgarh has started from today. Besides, night curfew will also be followed in other districts of the State from 9 pm today.

He claimed that at least 30 people are getting infected from every single person coming from Chhattisgarh. Therefore, he urged everyone not to go outside unless there is an emergency.

Wear masks and follow the COVID guidelines, Mohapatra advised.
