In order to know whether we have reached the peak of infections or not, we have to wait for 2-4 more days, said Mohapatra.

During the second wave the experts had estimated that the peak will be sometime around July, but in Odisha the peak was reached during the month of October.

Hence, few days from now shall be the crucial period to know the peak of the infection.

however, he further assured that, in comparison to the rest of the Country, we are at a better juncture.

Both the number of positives and the number of critical patients are comparatively less. It is noteworthy that in the last 24 hours there were 8,520 Covid positives in Odisha.
