Odisha: Intern Doctors Deployed For Covid Management

Bhubaneswar: In order to ensure smooth operation of Covid helpline in Odisha six intern doctors have been put in service from Monday.

According to the press release, “the following interns under the Superintendent, SCB MCH, Cuttack are hereby deployed to 104 Call Centre, IDCO Tower, Bhubaneswar with immediate effect for smooth management of COVID-19 related work.”

The decision has been taken after Odisha experienced a steep rise in the number of coronavirus infections with the daily positives crossing the 8000 mark.

Presently, Odisha has 4,71,536 Covid infected persons out which there are 71,835 active cases.
