Puri: Inspector-in-charge of Chandrabhaga Marine Police Station, Bulu Munda was suspended after his selfie taken with a murder accused went viral on social media.
As per reports, Munda clicked the selfie with murder accused Radha Mohan Biswal alias Munna. Biswal is the prime accused in the murder of a man at Alasahi under Astaranga Police station area on October 5 and was absconding.
On October 5, a youth, Dilip Swain was hacked to death in front of his father at Alasahi village. Police managed to nab Biswal, the prime accused in the case on Monday. However IIC, Munda clicked the selfie with Biswal while he was being taken to the police station.
In the viral picture, Biswal is seen wearing sunglasses as the inspector clicks the selfie. The accused was also taken to the police station without handcuffs.
