Odisha: H&UD Dept Signs Three MoUs To Improve Urban Delivery

Bhubaneswar: Housing and Urban Development department today signed three MoUs with three different organisations to improve urban delivery at Kharvela Bhwan in the presence of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

The three organisations which entered into a MoU are e-gov Foundation, Janagraha Centre for Citizenship and Democracy and Indian Heritage Cities Network Foundation.

e-gov Foundation of Nanadn Nilakani and Srikanth Nadhamuni will provide full stock of municipal services applications including trade license system, one line building plan approval system, property tax management and public grievance management system. Officials said that the features will be easily accessible for citizens through web and mobile app.

Similarly Janagraha Centre for Citizenship and Democracy of Ramesh and Swathi Ramanathan will undertake a transformative reform of property taxation in Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) resulting in growth in revenue of ULBs and investment in better service and infrastructure.

The Indian Heritage Cities Network Foundation represented by its chairman Dr. Ramachandran is an official partner of UNESCO will work for promotion of heritage based sustainable development.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister expressed his commitment to function with 5-T mantra to bring about visible transformation in the lives of people.
