Odisha HSC Exam 2020: CCTV cameras installed at sensitive exam centres

Cuttack: Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras have been installed at various exam centres for the annual matric examinations, conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) in Odisha, this year.

The annual exam is scheduled to start from February 19 and conclude on March 2, 2020.

Earlier, the Board had announced to install CCTV cameras at 1000 sensitive exam centres from across the state in a bid to stop unfair means practices during the examinations.

As many as 5,60,891 students will appear for the 10th Boad exam at 2888 centres across the state.

Sources said, a total of 307 nodal centres have been identified for safe storage of question papers with 24X7 surveillance. Besides, a three-tier squad system has been formed to check malpractices during the exam.
