Odisha heat wave condition: Temperature crosses 40-degree Celsius mark in 4 places of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Intense heat wave continued in Odisha as four places recorded maximum temperatures of above 40 degree Celsius today.

According to the Bhubaneswar-based Meteorological Centre, the four places where the day temperature crossed the 40-degree Celsius mark today are Balangir , Titilagarh, Sonepur and Baripada.

As per the weatherman, Titlagarh sizzled at 41 degree Celsius while Balangir, Sonepur and Baripada witnessed temperature of 40.5, 40.2 and 40 degree Celsius respectively.

Likes, Angul recorded 39.7 degree Celsius temperature, Boudh 39.5 degree Celsius and Talcher 39 degree Celsius.

The other places where the day temperature touched 38-degree Celsius mark are Jharsuguda (38.6), Sambalpur (38.4), Phulbani (38.2), Bhadrak (38) and Nayagarh (38).
