Odisha Govt Suspends CDMO In-Charge Of Sundargarh For Dereliction In Duty
Sundargarh: Odisha government today suspended CDMO in charge Sundargarh, Pankaj Patel for negligence in duty.
The development came after Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s 5T Secretary VK Pandian visited Sundargarh district to review health care facilities in state-run hospitals under the ‘Mo Sarkar’ initiative.
Based on feedback received from public under #MoSarkar, Sundargarh CDMO Pankaj Patel has been placed under suspension with immediate effect for negligence & @DMSundargarh Nikhil Pawan Kalyan also issued with show cause notice for the lapses in implementation of #5Ts.

Sources said that action against Patel was initiated after attendants and patients visiting Sundargarh District Headquarters Hospital complained of lack of facilities.
Besides the state government has also issued a show-cause notice to Sundargarh collector Nikhil Pawan Kalyan for lapses in implementing ‘Mo Sarkar’ initiative.
Patel, on the other hand, said that he is yet to get any official communication regarding his suspension.
