Odisha Govt Reconstitutes Committee For HC Benches In Western and Southern Regions

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has reconstituted the committee for consideration of various aspects for the establishment of permanent bench of High Court in western and southern regions of the state.

As per the notification by the Home Department, the Development Commissioner will be the chairman of the six-member committee while the special secretary to government in charge of home (High Court) department will be the member convenor of the committee.

Similarly, principal secretaries of Home, Finance, Law and Revenue and Disaster Management departments will the other four members of the committee.
