Bhubaneswar: Naveen Patnaik government in Odisha on Tuesday sought suggestions from people of different sections of the society for preparation of the annual budget for the financial year 2019-20.
The state government sought suggestions from common people, civil society organisations, different advocacy groups and other stakeholders to make use of this unique opportunity to participate in the budget-making process of the state government.
Finance Minister Niranjan Pujari said, the Department has initiated a process to obtain suggestions from the people by using information and communication technology (ICT), through a separate web portal budget.odisha.gov.in, by e-mail and SMS.
Suggestions can be sent via email address odisha.budget@gov.in as well as through Whatsapp, Telegram and via SMS to the Mobile number (+91)9438161111 from June 4 to 15, he added.
