Odisha govt bans wristwatches for Plus Two exams

Bhubaneswar: Odisha School and Mass Education Secretary Pradipta Kumar Mohapatra on Thursday informed that electronics gadgets, including wristwatches and mobile phones, will not be allowed inside the examination centres in the ensuing annual Plus Two examination.

Speaking to the newsmen today Mohapatra said that around 3.7 lakh students will appear in the examinations this year in the state.

CCTVs have already been installed in 936 out of the total 1,091 exam centres.

The Plus Two examination conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) will be held between March 7 and March 31.
