Cuttack: On the allegation of acquisition of disproportionate assets by Odisha Government Assistant Engineer simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance.
The Assistant Engineer has been identified as Pravat Kumar Rout. He was working under Dampada Block of Cuttack district.
The raid was led by four DSPs, ten Inspectors and other staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Honourable Special Judge, Vigilance, Cuttack at the following places:
1) Residential triple-storeyed building of Pravat Kumar Rout located at Plot no-749/2690, Kunheipada, Baranga police station, in Cuttack district.
2) House of Sri Rout at native village located at Taneipada under Rajkanika police station, of Kendrapara district.
3) Office Room of Sri Rout located at Block Office, Dampada under Cuttack district.
4) Residential house of his brother Arun Kumar Rout located at Housing Board Colony, Choudwar under Cuttack district.
