Odisha: Girl student of residential college dies after falling from hostel building, family alleges murder

Baripada: In a shocking incident, a girl student died allegedly after failing from the institution’s hostel building in the Bisoi area of the Mayurbhanj district today.

The girl, who has been identified as a Plus Two student of a residential college, reportedly died after allegedly falling from the hostel building.

On the other hand, her family members alleged that she has been murdered. They claimed that some hostel inmates and authorities killed her out of jealousy.

Besides, they filed a complaint with the police seeking a free and fair investigation into the matter and immediate arrest of all those who are involved in killing the student.

Based on their complaint, a team of the local police went to the college hostel and started a probe into the matter.
