Gajapati: Odisha Vigilance conducted a raid on properties associated with the Forester of Nuagada Forest Beat in Gajapati on Tuesday morning the allegation of accumulation of disproportionate assets. The Forester has been identified as Ganesh Kumar Pradhan.
Reportedly, the vigilance sleuths conducted a raid at five places including his rented residential house at Friends colony in Parlakhemundi, Native house at village Harischandrapur under Garabandh police limits, Double storeyed building located at Pathapatnam in Andhra Pradesh’s Srikakulam, Government quarter located at Nuagada Forest Beat office in Gajapati, and Office chamber of Ganesh located at Nuagada forest beat office in Gajapati on the strength of search warrants issued by the Hon’ble Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Berhampur.
Simultaneous house searches are being conducted by the Odisha Vigilance team led by two DSPs, five Inspectors, and other staff.
Further investigation regarding the vigilance raid is underway, details awaited.
