Paralakhemundi: As many as five Class-X students have gone missing from Jangalapadu village under Gurandi Police limits of Gajapati district on Saturday.
The five have been identified as Kanha Nayak (15), Vikram Jena (14), Soni Jena (14), Chinmaya Jena (15), and Damburu Nayak(15).
Police said that the missing students studied in different schools but hailed from the same village.
Police said that the students made excuses such as visiting school and having snacks and later went somewhere. The family members of the students reported the matter to the police after they did not return home.
Police said that they have circulated the pictures of the missing boys on social media and neighbouring police stations.
