Bhubaneswar: One fisherman reportedly went missing and five others were saved after a fishing boat capsized in the sea near Konark on Friday.
The missing person has been identified as AK Apallaraju, a resident of Chandrabhaga Nolia Sahi.
According to reports, six fishermen identified as Pk Apana ,Koda Seba , Benigu Kandia, Wanka Sinu, Mailipili Chinna had ventured into the sea for fishing on Friday. Suddenly they encountered a storm following which the boat capsized in the sea.
While one fisherman went missing in the sea, five others managed to swim and reach the shore.
Later, the ODRAF and fire services personnel were engaged in the search operation to trace the missing fisherman in the sea.
