Odisha Farmers to hold rallies across state from April 2; know the schedule

Bhubaneswar: In a bid to press their long-standing demand of price, pension and prestige further, farmers of the state has decided to hold rallies in several parts of Odisha.

The farmers will hold the rally under the aegis of Naba Nirman Krushak Sangathan (NNKS) from April 2 to 22. A delegation of the farmers led by NNKS Convenor Akshay Kumar met Chief Electoral Officer today and informed about their decision.

“Farmers will take out rallies in the state from April 2 till April 22 demanding price, pension and prestige and not cooperate in 2019 polls. This paribartan yatra will be a non-cooperation movement,” said Akshay Kumar.
