Bhubaneswar: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced fresh schedule for polling at Patkura Assembly Constituency in Kendrapara district.
According to an official notification, the polling will be held on May 19 between 7 am and 6 pm, during the seventh and final phase of elections in the country.
The election to the Patkura Assembly Constituency was countermanded following the death of incumbent legislator and BJD candidate Bed Prakash Agarwal.
While the last date for filing nomination is May 1, candidates can withdraw nomination till May 4.
The results of the poll will be declared on May 23.
