Bhubaneswar: BJD Supremo and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday filed his nominations for the upcoming elections. Patnaik filed his nomination papers for the Hinjili constituency of Ganjam district.
The CM, while filing the nomination, declared that he has immovable assets worth Rs 63,64,15,261 and movable assets to the tune of Rs 23,26,554. The assets include an Ambassador car and Rs 25,000 in cash.
Naveen’s asset has reduced in 2019 in comparison to 2011. However, the value of his properties has gone up due to increase in valuation of properties.
Here is the complete list of Patnaik’s assets:
- The farmland of 22.7 acres at Tikri Khera in Faridabad inherited by him has been valued at Rs 10.75 crore as on March 31, 2017. It was Rs 3.43 crore as on March 31, 2011 (2014 poll affidavit).
- The house at Naveen Niwas has been valued at Rs 9.52 crore (as on August 18, 2017) as against Rs 8.45 crore (as valued before last election).
- The house at APJ Abdul Kalam Road in New Delhi has been valued at Rs 43.36 crore (as on Sep 22, 2014), taking the sum total of immovable assets to Rs 63.64 crore.
- Rs 25, 000 cash in hand
- Jewelry, buttons of Rubies and diamonds in silver valued at Rs 2, 12, 252
- Rs 20 lakh in five bank accounts at New Delhi, Bhubaneswar and Hinjilikatu branches.
- Ambassador car (1980 model, Reg No OR 02A 7007) inherited from his father which has been valued at Rs 8905 which was earlier valued Rs 20, 000 during last poll affidavit.
- Naveen is yet to repay Rs 15 lakh loan availed from sister Gita Mehta.
- Anand Bhawan – the ancestral property of the Patnaiks – at Cuttack which has been donated has been valued at Rs 9.52 crore which was Rs 2.80 crore in 2014.
The BJD supremo has no any criminal cases against him.
