Odisha Election: CM Naveen Patnaik to hold roadshow in Cuttack, address 6 public meetings today

Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is all set to hold roadshow in Cuttack today to woo the voters and seek votes for party candidates of Cuttack Parliamentary constituency and the state assembly segments coming under it.

As per the schedule, Patnaik will arrive in Cuttack at 3.40 pm and will hold roadshow from Cuttack-Barabati to Bhubaneswar via Cuttack-Choudwar, Cuttack Sadar, Jaydev and Bhubaneswar (Central) assembly constituencies before arriving his residence – Naveen Niwas at 9 pm.

Prior to his roadshow from Cuttack to Bhubaneswar, Patnaik is scheduled to address six public meetings in Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar districts today.

The CM’s schedule of the day will begin with floral tributes to the statue of former CM of Odisha and his father Biju Patnaik on the premises of Odisha Legislative assembly at 9.30 am on the occasion of his 22nd death anniversary.

Later, he will arrive at Thakurmunda Panasdih ground helipad under Karanjia assembly constituency in Mayurbhanj district and will address a public meeting at 10.15 am.

The Chief Minister then will address a public meeting at Saharpada field helipad under Patna assembly constituency in Keonjhar district. Besides, he is slated to address four other public meetings at Padmapur, Telkoi, Masinabila and Chhenapadi of Keonjhar district.

Naveen will arrive in Cuttack for the roadshow directly from Chhenapadi.

The BJD chief’s roadshow is assumed to be a significant affair for the state ruling party as it is being organized just a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow in Bhubaneswar.
