Puri: On the basis of intelligence input, a team of Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Police has conducted a
raid in Puri district of Odisha.
The police had received reliable information and conducted a raid and apprehended one absconding drug peddler identified as Md Raja.
The peddler belongs to Jharanasahi under Ghoradia Police Station of Delanga block in Puri district of Odisha.
The police seized, contraband brown sugar worth 03 kg 100 grams, cash of Rs. 65.32 Lakh, 03 numbers 7 MM Pistol, 07 nos Magazine, 43 rounds of 7 MM Ammunitions and other incriminating materials.
The above apprehended accused was absconding since the occurrence. The accused was arrested and forwarded to the court of District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Nayagarh.
Till date three accused persons have been arrested and forwarded to the court.
