Odisha: Dreaded ganja trader Radhakant Nayak’s property confiscated

Mohana: Property worth Rs 1,17,57,694 of dreaded ganja trader Radhakant Nayak aka Khristadas Nayak of Odisha has been confiscated by the district police.

Additional SP of Gajapati district, Bamdev Singh, during a press meet said that the district police confiscated the Nayak property which included his house on government land in Raipanka village and another house in Ankuli area of Brahmapur, luxurious car and several bank accounts.

A total of 14 cases, including 10 at Adava Police station, 3 in different police stations of Rayagada district and one in Delhi are pending against Nayak, informed the Additional SP adding that a murder case is also has been registered against the accused.

Radhakant was the kingpin of encouraging people for cultivating ganja by providing them ganja saplings.

Gajapati district police had arrested Radhakant from Mysore of Karnataka on March 15, 2021. Currently, he is lagged at Bhanjanagar Sub-Jail.
