Odisha Draft Annual Budget-2020 to be tabled at Cabinet Meeting today
Bhubaneswar: The draft Annual State Budget-2020 will be tabled for approval at the Cabinet meeting of Odisha Legislative Assembly (OLA) chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here today.
The meeting which is scheduled to start around 11.45 pm will discuss on various proposals in the annual budget in details before passing it.
Similarly, a meeting of the State Council of Ministers will also be held under the Chairmanship of CM Naveen Patnaik.
Notably, the Annual State Budget 2020-21 will be presented in the Odisha Assembly on February 18 by Finance Minister Niranjan Pujari.
The Budget Session of the Assembly for the financial year 2020-21 will begin on February 14 and continue till April 9. The 31-day session will start with Governor Ganeshi Lal’s address to the house.
The first phase of the budget session would last from February 14th to February 26th, whereas the second session will start on March 11th and continue till April 9.
