Odisha Doctors Go On 24 Hour Strike

Bhubaneswar:  Healthcare services in the state were affected on Monday as doctors declared a 24-hour strike in response to the recent attack on medicos in West Bengal.

The strike will continue till June 18.

Emergency services remained functional however Out Patient Department (OPD) registration at hospitals across the state has been affected.

The one-day strike has been called by the Indian Medical Association (IMA) in solidarity with the junior doctors’ strike at NRS Medical College, Kolkata, who were attacked on June 10.
