WATCH: DEO Attacked Over Alleged Non-Payment Of Salary In Odisha

Berhampur: In a shocking incident, a District Education Officer (DEO) was attacked inside the office on Tuesday.

According to reports, a teacher couple allegedly attacked the officer due to non-payment of salary due to them.

The DEO identified as Binita Senapati has sustained multiple injuries in the assault.

According to reports, a teacher and her husband allegedly beat the DEO while she was leaving the office to have lunch.

The teacher identified as Shantilata Sahu alleged that her salary has been stopped without any valid reason for the last four years.
