Odisha Dentist Goes Missing

Kesinga: The Odisha police have launched a search for a 35-year-old dentist, who allegedly attacked his assistant Saban Mahala near Phulbani in Odisha.

The missing doctor has been identified as Dr. Ajit Prasad Jain, a resident of Kesinga town in Kalahandi district.

According to reports, Ajit and Saban together began their journey from here to Balangir district for some medical purpose six days back. However a day later, Saban lodged an FIR at Phulbani police station against Ajit accusing that the latter had attacked him with a sharp knife near Phulbani, took away a sum of Rs 40,000 from him forcefully and fled from the spot.

Meanwhile, the family members of the missing dentist and some locals staged demonstration in front of the Kesinga police station on Tuesday to press their demand to search Ajit at the earliest. They also accused that Saban might be playing a foul game in this connection.

Based on a complaint filed by a family member of the young dentist the Kesinga police registered a man missing case and formed a special team to trace him.
