Cuttack: A floating dead body has been recovered from Mahanadi river in the morning hours on Wednesday.
According to reports, the body belongs to a woman and has been recovered from near the Gorakabar area in Cuttack.
The recovered body is yet to be identified.
The body was spotted by the locals, they immediately informed the Bidanasi police station.
Later, the police and locals fished out the body, a probe has been initiated in the matter.
