Odisha Covid recovery: Another 590 patients recover on October 4

Bhubaneswar: The Health & Family Welfare Department of Odisha on October 4 has informed that another 590 Covid patients have recovered and are being discharged from different facilities across the state in last 24 hours.

According to the data shared by the department on its Twitter handle, the total Covid recovery cases of the State rose to 10,15,608 with the recovery of 590 patients.

The district-wise recovery cases today are as follows:

  • 271 from Khordha
  • 64 from Cuttack
  • 63 from State Pool
  • 29 from Jagatsinghpur
  • 25 from Mayurbhanj
  • 23 from Balasore
  • 17 from Puri
  • 16 from Jajpur
  • 12 from Bhadrak
  • 10 from Nayagarh
  • 7 from Angul
  • 7 from Bolangir
  • 7 from Sambalpur
  • 5 from Ganjam
  • 5 from Kendrapara
  • 4 from Malkangiri
  • 4 from Sundargarh
  • 3 from Jharsuguda
  • 3 from Kalahandi
  • 3 from Keonjhar
  • 3 from Nabarangpur
  • 3 from Sonepur
  • 2 from Kandhamal
  • 2 from Koraput
  • 1 from Deogarh
  • 1 from Nuapada

A total of 407 Covid-19 positive cases including 74 in the 0-18 years age group have been detected positive in Odisha in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 10,28,366, informed the Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Monday.

Among the 407 positives in quarantine there are 238 and local contact 169 cases. As of now 10,15,018 patients have recovered including 606 in last 24 hours. The total number of active cases stands at 5,075.
