Odisha Covid recovery: 530 patients recover today across different districts

Bhubaneswar: The Health & Family Welfare (H& FW) Department of Odisha on October 18 has informed that another 530 Covid patients have recovered and are being discharged from different facilities across the state in last 24 hours.

According to the data shared by the H& FW department on its official Twitter handle, the total Covid recovery cases of the State is 10,22,780 with the recovery of 530 patients. The maximum recovery cases were recorded in Khordha district followed by Cuttack and Balasore.

The district-wise recovery cases today are as follows:

233 from Khordha

67 from Cuttack

29 from Mayurbhanj

20 from Balasore

19 from Sundargarh

16 from Jagatsinghpur

13 from Gajapati

13 from Jajapur

13 from Kendrapara

13 from Puri

9 from Sambalpur

7 from Balangir

4 from Ganjam

3 from Bhadrak

3 from Dhenkanal

2 from Anugul

2 from Kandhamal

2 from Koraput

2 from Nuapada

1 from Bargarh

1 from Jharsuguda

1 from Keonjhar

1 from Malkangiri

1 from Sonepur

55 from State Pool

 

A total of 340 Covid-19 positive cases including 50 in the 0-18 years age group have been detected positive in Odisha in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 10,35,417, informed the Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Monday.

Among the 340 positives, there are 199 quarantine cases and 141 local contact cases. The new recovery cases stands at 508, taking the total number of 10,22, 250. Hence, the number of active cases stands at 4,824.
