Nuapada: Secretary of Transformation and Initiatives (5T), VK Pandian today visited Nuapada, Rayagada and Kalahandi districts to take stock of healthcare facilities in both the districts.
National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) director Shalini Pandit and Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) Chief Adviser R. Balakrishnan also accompanied Pandian.
During his visit, Pandian interacted with patients to assess the healthcare facilities provided at the hospitals. The senior bureaucrat also visited the Regional Transport Office (RTO) in Kalahandi to take stock of facilities provided to citizens.
Earlier on Wednesday Pandian has visited three districts of Malkangiri, Koraput and Nabarangpur districts to review healthcare facilities and infrastructures in state-run hospitals.
