Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday wished former Assembly speaker Surjya Narayan Patro who is unwell.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Patnaik said I got to know that former Assembly speaker and BJD party’s senior leader Surjya Narayan Patro is undergoing treatment at the hospital due to health problems. Wishing him a speedy recovery and good health.
ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟଗତ ସମସ୍ୟା କାରଣରୁ ପୂର୍ବତନ ବାଚସ୍ପତି ତଥା ଦଳର ବରିଷ୍ଠ ନେତା ଶ୍ରୀଯୁକ୍ତ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ ନାରାୟଣ ପାତ୍ର ଡାକ୍ତରଖାନାରେ ଚିକିତ୍ସିତ ହେଉଥିବା ବିଷୟରେ ଅବଗତ ହେଲି। ତାଙ୍କର ଆଶୁଆରୋଗ୍ୟ ଓ ଉତ୍ତମ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ କାମନା କରୁଛି।

According to Patro’s son Biplab, the former Assembly speaker has been admitted at the hospital for the last 14 days as he is suffering from kidney ailments and a serious bacterial infection in his left eye.
It is to be noted here that Patro resigned as the Speaker of Odisha Legislative Assembly yesterday.
