Odisha CM To Make Aerial Survey Of Bulbul Affected Districts On Monday

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will make an aerial survey of the Bulbul affected districts on Monday afternoon and review damage and restoration measures at Loka Seva Bhavan.

Rain lashed several parts of coastal Odisha on Saturday, uprooting trees and snapping road links in Odisha. Electric poles were rooted out at several places in Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara and Bhadrak districts. Besides two people reportedly died in the state due to the cyclone.

There has been extensive damage to crops in the state after several places in the state witnessed rainfall.

The State government has earlier deployed National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Odisha Disaster Rapid Action Force (ODRAF) and fire service personnel in nine coastal districts in view of the cyclone Bulbul.
