Odisha CM Naveen Reaches Nuapada, Inaugurates Tikhali Dam

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has reached Nuapada district. He has inaugurated the Tikhali Dam (Lower Indra Irrigation Project) in the district.

The CM will inaugurate a number of other projects in Nuapada informed sources. He will address a gathering in Nuapada and inform the people about the various projects. Naveen will also interact with the district BJD leaders and activists.

Prior to the visit of the CM, Pranab Prakash Das, BJD’s organizing secretary had visited the helipad and public meeting places at the Khadial Raja Arthatran High School grounds in Nuapada to review the preparations.

The much-awaited, Lower Indra Irrigation Project inaugurated. This project will irrigate 13,000 hectares of land in the district and 16,000 hectares of farmland.

The CM will address a public meeting at the Artatran High School grounds. He is also scheduled to inaugurate projects worth 4000 crore for Nuapada district.
