Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik to visit Kandhamal district tomorrow, will distribute BSKY Smart Cards

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will visit Kandhamal district tomorrow during which he is scheduled to distribute the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) Smart Card to some residents of the district.

As per the schedule, Patnaik will arrive at the Kandhamal Stadium by 11 AM and will distribute the BSKY Smart Card to as many as 1, 65,097 beneficiaries.

Apart from distributing the Health Smart Cards, the CM is also slated to lay foundation stones of different projects worth around Rs 300 crore under the Mukhyamantri Karma Tatapara Abhiyan Yojana (MUKTA).

A total of 20 platoons of police forces and 100 police officers have been engaged to maintain the law and order during the Chief Minister’s visit and meeting.

Kandhamal MP Achyuta Samanta and Odisha Law Minister Pratap Jena have already reached the venue to monitor the arrangement for conducting the program peacefully and smoothly.

It is to be noted here that Patnaik have already distributed the BSKY Health Cards in different districts of the State earlier this month.

On November 2, he visited Kuchinda in Sambalpur district and distributed the Smart Health Cards to the beneficiaries.

Likewise, he distributed the health cards to the people of Kalahandi district during his visit to Bhawanipatna on November 8.

The people of Keonjhar district also received the health card from Patnaik through virtual mode on November 18 and on November 20 he gave away the BSKY cards to the people of both Angul and Dhenkanal districts.
