Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik to release financial assistance to farmers under KALIA Yojana tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will release financial assistance to farmers under the Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation (KALIA) scheme tomorrow on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya on May 3.

Reportedly, Rs 800-crore will be released to more than 40-lakh small & marginal farmers under KALIA Yojana.

The amount is being provided to the farmers’ account under KALIA Yojana twice a year, added reports.

It is to be noted that Rs 920-crore was released small & marginal farmers for Kharif crop on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya.
